I like this one a lot. As much as I love the original, it lounged up pretty well. The bridge was surgically excised and sewn on to the ending, which I feel satisfies.

If I had access to a full band and unlimited resources, I think this would make a hugely awesome latin jazz big band number. Just close your eyes and imagine.

Hoku was so good. How come she didn’t have more hits? I will go to my grave wondering.
