Podcast: Totally Confident
June 1st, 2005 | Posted in NewsDear internet: I made you a podcast just like you told me to do.
Below you will find an mp3 of me telling you a story. As an added bonus: I am also playing guitar gently, lovingly, in the background. The chords are sweet yet serious, and I’m sure you will find that they caress the words like a secret lover.
Seriously, I don’t know if this kind of thing would actually be of interest to anyone, but I’m going to throw it out there and we’ll see what’s up. If this is lame, let me know. If this is the kind of thing that you find value in, also let me know. I am not a person who owns a walkabout mp3 player, but I see that everyone else has one at this point. If I had one, I would probably be interested in stuff like this.

Known Issues
1) Mic clipping due to my breathiness and rising inflection
2) Awkward pauses in words, reading should be very much smoother and more practiced
3) Accidentally changed accents between the two appearances of the bald man
4) Yay/nay on music, if yay, how to make it better?
5) Is there any way to record a story with music underneath so that it doesn’t sound so fucking This American Life?
Anyways, see what you think. Like that.
